Since I spend so much time working, and I know I'm not alone in that, I believe my office should be an expression of my style and personality. When I am designing any office, I always incorporate an assortment of Lucite office pieces because they express a clean, modern, pure aesthetic. I suggest beginning with your clear desk and chair. I chose a Mid Century Modern smoky grey desk chair with a bright gold Eiffel leg base and mixed it with a grey, raffia covered writing desk with a thick clear glass top. As modern desk accessories, I placed a clear Lucite desk tray and my Brass and Lucite stapler and tape dispenser. Simply the mix of brilliant brass and thick clear acrylic, makes my desk look orderly and chic.
Beneath my desk, I placed a smoky grey Lucite square trash bin because the transparent grey looks crisp and modern, yet hides the contents within. Behind my desk, on my clear leg white lacquered credenza, I placed clear Lucite trays to hold my files, magazine cuttings and latest tearsheets.
